One problem when it comes to finding furniture for a childs bedroom is that it never quite meets your expectations. Its either too small or too big for the space you have to fit each piece, and if you have a themed room it can be very difficult to find quality furniture to go with the theme. Childrens furniture also needs to be strong and able to withstand the inevitable knocks and bumps that come with playtime.

The Shelfstore system uses solid and strong North Scandinavian pine to create its shelving components. Each shelf is extremely strong and can withstand weights of up to 100kg on its steel supports and you can fix the completed pine shelving to the wall for additional support and stability. All units come varnished, but you can paint the system if you wish so that it coordinates with the rest of the rooms dcor or theme. If you do wish to paint the unit, first rub down the varnish using a fine wire wool pad.

As well as being strong and robust, the Shelfstore system is ideal for a childs bedroom because you can add in toy boxes or drawer sets at the appropriate height for them to hold their toys and keep the room tidy and free of clutter. Other parts of the units can be used as an open bookcase, chest of drawers for clothes and even a wardrobe, meaning you can use just one piece of furniture for many different uses.
